Specialising in supporting people from marginalised communities to further their careers in music, Come Play With Me’s mission is to work towards an industry that is equitable, inclusive and diverse.
Home Taping
Record Label, Manchester
Emerging with no greater mission than to dig out unusual and precocious artistry from just west of the Pennines, Home Taping is a completely new label with a refined agenda. Serving as a home to Salford-based post-punk poet and producer, poor effort, in both the artist and the label’s infant stages, the symbiosis between nurturing stable and acerbic musician was established in 2025. New signings follow the prescribed format of no prescribed format in service primarily to the music.

Interval Records is a Newcastle-based record label amplifying Northern voices by combining regionally rooted artist development with the reach and resources of EMI North and Generator.

Island EMI Records
Record Label, London
In October 2024, Universal Music UK brought together two iconic music labels, Island and EMI Records, to create Island EMI Label Group. The new powerhouse label group is designed to help deliver our strategy to support artists from the wider Universal family, linking closely with US label partners Republic Corps, and Interscope Capitol Labels Group.
Blending these labels brings Island's unique ethos of launching pioneering and influential global artists such as Bob Marley, U2, Amy Winehouse, Hozier and The Last Dinner Party, with EMI's illustrious history and roster of diverse acts from the UK, including Sir Elton John, Queen and Metallica.
The label group is also home to a star-studded US and international roster which includes artists such as Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, Ariana Grande, Drake, Lewis Capaldi, Noah Kahan and Chappell Roan.
Launchpad+
Record Label, Leeds
Launchpad+ provides distribution, publishing and management services to over 100 artists, record labels and rightsholders across Yorkshire & the North.
In 2025 they helped distribute over 340 releases, made up of at least 543 tracks from over 152 artists. They collect the publishing royalties (PRS / MCPS) for over 75 artists, comprising over 800 songs, & manage the neighbouring rights (PPL) for over 1,400 recordings and over 75 performers.
In 2023, Launchpad+ partnered with EMI North to launch their own label, releasing music from the likes of Chiedu Oraka, Dilettante, Lucky Iris, and more… as well as upstreaming artists from their existing analog horizons imprint.

MAP Charity
Charity, Leeds
MAP Charity is an alternative education provider working with young people in West Yorkshire who are unable to access the mainstream school system.
Since 2007 MAP has delivered creative training for young people, alongside running a gallery space for art exhibitions and music events, as well as workspaces for creative businesses too.
All of this is delivered under one roof, nurturing the next generation of creative professionals and offering life changing opportunities to access professional pathways into the creative and music industries for young people.
Soul Kitchen

Formed in 2020, Soul Kitchen is committed to the musical development of refreshing new artists of all genres through Management, Recordings and Music Publishing. Concentrating on developing talent outside of London, we exist to give our young Northern artists support, belief and development.
Soul Kitchen's ambition is to empower a new breed of young artists and help them reach the creative and commercial heights the founders, Jason Hart, Keith Armstrong and Katherine Monaco, have been lucky enough to experience themselves.
